Lab Diagram

192.168.1.0\24

172.16.1.0\28

Lab Objectives

  • You have been tasked with configuring a DHCP server on R1. Call the pool you create R1DHCPPool1
  • Ensure that all addresses within the R1 LAN network will be leased out
  • The first 7 addresses on R1's LAN should not be leased via DHCP
  • The only route off of the LAN is via R1's Fa0/0 interface
  • The DNS and NetBIOS servers are hosted at another location on the network. Ensure that hosts will use the servers 10.0.45.3 and 172.16.45.34
  • Hosts should use the domain name force5.local
  • Ensure that clients will submit another DHCP request at least once every 4 days, 16 hours and 26 minutes
