Lab Objectives

  • Cable a network in accordance with the diagram given
  • Configure the hostname and interface IP addresses, or paste the initial configuration onto all devices
  • The encapsulation on R1 should be set to a proprietary standard
  • Configure the encapsulation type on R2 to something other than Cisco's implementation
  • Configure the encapsulation type on R3 to something other than Cisco's implementation
  • A non proprietary LMI standard other than q933a should be configured on R1
  • Ansi should be the configured LMI message format on R2
  • q933a should be the configured LMI message format on R3
  • With concerns about security, inverse ARP is to be disabled on R1 and DLCI/IP address information configured on the serial interface manually
