Lab Objectives

  • Cable a network in accordance with the diagram given
  • Configure the hostname and interface IP addresses, or paste the initial configuration onto all devices
  • Configure the encapsulation type for each router to be the default
  • Use the default LMI type for each router
  • Router R1 will be the hub on this network, and the other two routers configured as spokes
  • Configure a multipoint subinterface on R1, and configure a point to point subinterface on the other two routers
  • All subinterfaces should be named using their DLCI numbers, except the multipoint subinterface which should be named 123
  • R1 should use frame-relay maps
  • The other two routers should have the appropriate DLCI configured for their subinterfaces
